THE FINAL CHAPTER

We have always said that we would not go back to a venue unless we had good reason, well this is not just going back this was the 3rd time. We are unsure as to why we experience the thing we do here. We have not seen any other reports from the many groups that have visited here that cover the amount of strange things that have happened on our past two visits. Perhaps we are experiencing the paranormal. Whether we do things differently from other groups, we are not sure. We have found a darker side to the Priest House, which we believe goes back many years.

The Report - of the The Priest House - The Final Chapter
Team: Jim, Jane, Nikki, Charlotte, Tina, Gary
The team started the evening with a look around the house and Jim placed a digital recorder in the upstairs back bedroom and motion sensors in the other bedroom. Temperature readings were taken throughout the night and it was found that these readings varied up and down inconsistently. This is a very old building with no heaters and the windows are the original. There were times when it was very hot within the room and when checking the outside temperature it was substantially colder.
The team decided to start the investigation upstairs, the temperature was 20c. Nikki began by calling out for any spirits to come forward. Sounds are heard, but they were weak and could be attributed to anything. Nikki calls out to the spirit to whom they spoke with on their last investigation – Thomas, but received no response.
They ask for the child that some were picking up on to come forward. Tina can see a little girl with a red ribbon in her hair. Nikki uses the dowsing rods to try and communicate with the young girl and ask if she is with them. The rods cross indicating “Yes”
Question: “Are you the little girl with a red ribbon in your hair that Tina saw?” Answer: “No”
Question: “Are you a boy?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Are you affecting Jim and making him feel angry?” Answer: “No”
Question: “Do you know who is making him angry?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Is it Victor?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Does he remember us?” Answer: “Yes”
Jim things Victor is funny and both he and others go very cold. Jim asks “Is Victor going to try and drive us away tonight?” A strong “Yes” came the answer. Jim picks up on a lady standing in between Jane and Tina and she has a funny shaped nose.
Jane asks “Is there a lady present with us?”
Jim asks “Do you like Jane?” Answer: “Yes”
Jane asks “Are you here to protect me?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Did you use to live here?” Answer: “No”
Question: “Did you live in the village?” Answer: “No”
Question: “Did you work at the house?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Were you a nanny looking after the children?” Answer: “No”
Question: “Were you in service?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Where you here in the 1700’s?” Answer: “No”
Question: “Where you here in the 1600’s?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Did you work in the kitchen?” Answer: “No”
Question: “Where you a maid” Answer: “Yes”

Jim asks “Is the male spirit responsible for what I have seen at the bottom of the stairs?” Answer: “Yes”
The team ask Jim what he has seen, be he declines to answer at this point.
Question: “Do we have Victor to thank for this?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Do you really think you can scare us with what is at the bottom of the stairs? No answer is given (There are a couple of photographs at the bottom of this page which show very good spirit lights or spirit orbs)
Jim asks the team to start a séance and he calls out with respect. Charlotte feels someone touching her foot. Tina, who is wearing the enhanced hearing device, hears the word “Go” being said several times.
Nikki looks over at Jim and he seems much taller. Jane thinks he looks thinner and Jim feels that someone is standing behind him. He picks up on someone and tries to channel this spirit. Jane calls out to him and checks to make sure Jim is OK.
The spirit now speaks through Jim and says “You should not be here, you should go, you will pay”
Jane asks “Is that you Victor?” Jim starts to push the spirit away. He then starts to channel a little girl who is present in the room.
Jane asks “What is your name?” Answer: “Rosemary”
“How old are you?” No answer is given.
Jim returns from channelling her and confirms that she is about 6 years old, but she moved away when Victor was coming back. He also heard a very deep laugh, but unfortunately no one else heard this. He feels like someone has just poked him hard in the ribs and starts laughing. One of the team asks Jim if he was being tickled as that was the feeling she was getting.
Nikki and Charlotte feel that Jim is growing and leaning towards them, at this point Tina sees a shadow behind them and Nikki says she has gone very cold. Jim tells the group that this spirit present is a male, quite smart looking with his hair brushed back and wavy at the back. Nikki asks if that is him blowing on her hand, but receives no answer.
Jim sees a gentleman behind Jane, she feels like she is being touched. Again Nikki is concerned that she can’t see Jim and now others seem to be disappearing from view. She then believes that Jim is now right in her face and it looks like he is wearing a hood. There appears to be a lot of darkness around the team and Charlotte asks if Jim is leaning over towards Jane, but he hasn’t moved.
Jim sees someone near Charlotte they appear to be dark and dressed like the Scottish Widow with a large black hood; Nikki says that this is was she was seeing when she looked at Jim. There was a feeling that they were being surrounded and Jim felt there would have been a cult here many years ago and he was not happy with some of the feelings he was getting. At this point they decided it was time for a break.
As the second part of the investigation began it was decided that Jim and Jane would return upstairs. Jane had the enhanced hearing device to listen out for any noise undetected by human ears. Jim called out to any spirit present to come forward. It was not before both of them hear a click. Jim asked for the noise to be repeated which it is.
Jane feels like there is someone moving around upstairs near them and the temperature within the room was becoming hotter, although the temperature was not recorded as proof of this. There were a couple of more clicks, but nothing that could for sure be paranormal.
Meanwhile downstairs the investigation began with Tina, Nikki, Gary and Charlotte who decided to use the Ouija board. Tina takes control of the board and calls out to move the glass if any spirits were present and would communicate with them. The glass moves to “Yes”.
Question: “Are you a male?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Can you give the first letter of your first name?” Answer: “C”
Question: “Can you give us the others letters of your first name?” Answer: “L, I, V, E”
Question: “Can you confirm your name is Clive?”

(This was checked and there is no trace of this name and the year, this does not mean he did not exist, just unable to find him)

At this point Jim and Jane returned to join the team. During the time upstairs Jim had called out and Jane heard a sound on the enhanced hearing which sounded like “No”
Tina and Gary begin a vigil upstairs, they feel that there is someone in the doorway and it seemed to have gone very warm around them. There were no sounds to report, but Tina could feel that someone was walking up and down. Gary believes there is someone or something very close to them and it goes very cold. Nothing further develops and they decide to return to the rest of the group who are downstairs.
Whilst Tina and Gary were upstairs, the remaining members of the group restart the Ouija board downstairs. Jim calls out and the glass begins to move.

Question: “Are you a female?” Answer: “Yes”
The glass then moves to “Hello” and Jim asks “What would you like to say to us”
Question: “Can you spell?” Answer: “Yes”

Question: “Is that a kiss you have just given us?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Is your name Rosemary?” Answer: “R, O, S, E”
Question: “That is you Rosemary?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Are you the little girl from upstairs?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Do you miss your mum?” Answer: “Yes”
Jim uses the Dowsing Rods and asks Rosemary if she can move the rods – after a short while the rods cross indicating “Yes”

A noise is heard in the room.
Question: “Are you scared to leave here?” Answer: “Yes”

The team then move to the Dining Room and try a number of ways to get a response from her. After a while they manage to communicate with her again.
Question: “Are you happy here?” Answer: “Yes”
Jim asks “Was Mary your mother?” Answer: “Yes” Jim explains that Mary was someone who had been in contact with them on a previous visit.
Question: “How old are you?” Answer: “6”
Question: “What year were you here – 1700’s, 1600’s” There was no answer
Question: “Is there someone behind Tina?” Answer: “No” Tina had felt that someone may have been there.
Question: “Is there someone nearer the door behind Tina?” Answer: “No”
Question: “Is that still you Rosemary?” Answer: “No”
Nikki asks “Are you a male that is with us now?” Answer: “Yes”
Jim asks “Is that you Charles?” Answer: “Yes” (The team had met Charles a few times and found him a friendly character)
Question: “Are you surprised to see us back again?” Answer: “Yes”

Question: “Last time you told us not to come back, is that right?” Answer: “Yes”
Jane asks “Are you cross with me for coming back?” Answer: “No”
Question: “Is that you making the noise in the other room?” Answer: “No”
Question: “Are you worried about Victor doing something to us?
Question: “Do you know Rosemary?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Is she happy?” Another noise is heard coming from upstairs.
Question: “Is that Victor upstairs making that noise, walking back and forth?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Victor does not like women does he?” Answer: “No”
Jane asks “Did Victor have an unhappy childhood?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Did someone hurt him?”
Question: “Did he live here?” Answer: “No”
Question: “Did he work here?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Is that you at the bottom of the stairs?” Answer: “Yes”
Question: “Is it safe for me?” Answer: “No”
Following a break the team return to the Dining Room and begin a séance. Nikki feels sick and has a weird feeling, while Jane becomes worried about Jim as he is not responding and appears to be choking. A spirit begins to channel through him, but does not respond to Jane’s questions at first. Jim feels they are trying to stop him breathing.
Jim continues to call out, but nothing appears to happen. Despite this a lot of noise is heard coming from upstairs which sounds as though someone is pacing back and forth. This continues throughout the rest of the vigil. It was hoped that this noise would be picked up on the Dictaphone, but unfortunately nothing was captured.
Jim asks for one of the female members of the team to call out; both Jane and Tina respond and ask for any spirit to come forward, but there is no response apart from the strange noises. (These noises heard where believed to be paranormal, but there is no evidence to support this)
At the end of the night the team returned to the top floor and started a séance. Jim called out several times; sounds are heard as if someone was moving around. He checked the floor boards and found them to be solid. Nikki felt that the floor boards were shaking. Jim calls out to Victor, the spirit that had been giving the team problems – more noises are heard, but unfortunately were not caught on the recorder.
The team move to the other room, which had many display cases within it. Jim started a séance and there was a feeling that they were not alone, he saw a shadow moving around the rafters and others saw shadows within the room. On the advice of Jim’s guide, it was time to close the investigation, pack up and leave.
Conclusions
A digital recorder was left playing the whole evening. Throughout the night the team heard plenty of banging and other sounds coming from upstairs. However, when the digital recorder was checked there appeared to be a problem, lots of sounds was heard which appeared to be energy and the tape kept on stopping when being played back.
When the team were in the room there was no problem at all with the tape, it was clear and played back with no problems. When it was listened to a second time, there were sounds of movement, but nothing that could be used or say it was paranormal. Was this just one of those things or was it something at the Priest House trying to make a point? The recorder did get one EVP which can be listened to at the end of this report. Once the recording was deleted from the Dictaphone, it worked fine.
This was the team’s third time at the Priest House. The six members heard many sounds during the night – sounds of footsteps above in the bedroom, strange smells and feelings around the place. At times the energy was high, but it was very negative energy and we can offer no evidence to support what was felt.
It is strongly believed that over the last three visits to the Priest House much has been discovered about the past. Much has been kept quiet and has not been nice. Children have been picked up and there was a feeling that they were being held against their will.
The Priest House has many nice spirits walking around who will make themselves known. Many of the names that the two mediums and some of the team came up with were found to be correct. However, there are spirits who do not want people there, we were warned not to go back and we did. This last time I did not like what I saw, but I only witness this with my eyes and have no proof. One day the secrets of the Priest House will be known.
The team had a great time and I would like to thank Antony for all his help during our three visits. I would return to dig deeper, but I feel enough is enough for now. As they say – never say never.

Jim continues to call out, but nothing appears to happen. Despite this a lot of noise is heard coming from upstairs which sounds as though someone is pacing back and forth. This continues throughout the rest of the vigil. It was hoped that this noise would be picked up on the Dictaphone, but unfortunately nothing was captured.
Jim asks for one of the female members of the team to call out; both Jane and Tina respond and ask for any spirit to come forward, but there is no response apart from the strange noises. (These noises heard where believed to be paranormal, but there is no evidence to support this)
At the end of the night the team returned to the top floor and started a séance. Jim called out several times; sounds are heard as if someone was moving around. He checked the floor boards and found them to be solid. Nikki felt that the floor boards were shaking. Jim calls out to Victor, the spirit that had been giving the team problems – more noises are heard, but unfortunately were not caught on the recorder.
The team move to the other room, which had many display cases within it. Jim started a séance and there was a feeling that they were not alone, he saw a shadow moving around the rafters and others saw shadows within the room. On the advice of Jim’s guide, it was time to close the investigation, pack up and leave.
Conclusions
A digital recorder was left playing the whole evening. Throughout the night the team heard plenty of banging and other sounds coming from upstairs. However, when the digital recorder was checked there appeared to be a problem, lots of sounds was heard which appeared to be energy and the tape kept on stopping when being played back.
When the team were in the room there was no problem at all with the tape, it was clear and played back with no problems. When it was listened to a second time, there were sounds of movement, but nothing that could be used or say it was paranormal. Was this just one of those things or was it something at the Priest House trying to make a point? The recorder did get one EVP which can be listened to at the end of this report. Once the recording was deleted from the Dictaphone, it worked fine.
This was the team’s third time at the Priest House. The six members heard many sounds during the night – sounds of footsteps above in the bedroom, strange smells and feelings around the place. At times the energy was high, but it was very negative energy and we can offer no evidence to support what was felt.
It is strongly believed that over the last three visits to the Priest House much has been discovered about the past. Much has been kept quiet and has not been nice. Children have been picked up and there was a feeling that they were being held against their will.
The Priest House has many nice spirits walking around who will make themselves known. Many of the names that the two mediums and some of the team came up with were found to be correct. However, there are spirits who do not want people there, we were warned not to go back and we did. This last time I did not like what I saw, but I only witness this with my eyes and have no proof. One day the secrets of the Priest House will be known.
The team had a great time and I would like to thank Antony for all his help during our three visits. I would return to dig deeper, but I feel enough is enough for now. As they say – never say never.
