The Equipment We Use
We use a number of different items on our Investigations, and guest's are able to try the majoity of them out.
EMF X 2 (Electro-Magnetic Field) Meters is a scientific instrument for measuring electromagnectis fields.
We use it for checking for paranormal activity, as Ghosts, and Spirits are energy so they give of an energy field which a EMF meter will pick up.
It should remain on Zero, so if it moves from the Zero there has to be a reason, of course the first thing we check for is something electrical before we start saying its paranormal, even a mobile phone will set this off.

Beam Barrier Alarm System
Simple piece of equipment, we place them a short distance apart, maybe covering a doorway. If something brakes the beam that is sent from one to the other a high pitched sound is heard.

These are used the most of all our equipment, and we would not be without our them. We record the whole investigation, and its one for each team, its a lot of work, but worth it.
The bonus of using these is the EVP's (see below) we get.

Green Laser Pen
Green Laser Pen: This is a new item which give a large range of green laser in doors or out. With this you can set it up and see anything that crosses the laser.
IR (Infra-Red) Thermometers x 2
We use these when we do the bass line checks, and during the investigation. They give out a laser beam to around 25 meters so we can check cold spots almost anywhere.

Hand-held IR (Infra-Red) Night Vision x 3 camcorders
We have someone on camera filming the whole night, we also use them for what we call a locked off camera. This is when we just leave a camera recording, in the hope we catch something

Dowsing rods go back hundreds of years, and the most common use was for finding water, its said they can be used for finding a number of things.
We use them to try and make contact with spirit.
They are held up and level and short distance apart, the user then calls out for anyone there to make themselves known to them. This is done by the rods crossing or moving apart. Most times if the rods cross its a yes, move apart no, they can also be used to point to where the spirit is standing.
We have had a fair about of success with these.

- K2 Meter
- A number of large and small tripods
- Camera's. We have seveal basic digital cameras. We use these to take sometimes hundreds of photos during an investigation in the hope we catch something that can't be explained, such as the photos from the Red Lion.
- Laptops: We use a laptop which has a program like a Franks Box which we leave running, and talk to spirit with it
- Green Ghost Hunting Laser With Grid Lens &Tri-pod
- CCTV, DVD Recorders, TV, We use CCTV to record places that we cannot always get to, we have this set up to record direct to a recorder, we can also watch via the TV during a break.
- Trigger Objects. These are a number of items, they can be small toys, a cross, or stones. We place them in areas and monitor them for movement. This is done in a few ways, such as taking a photo at the start and finish, drawing around the object, or covering with talcum power.
