Private House Investigation - Isleworth
Investigation Date: 19 March 2011
Conducted and written by Jim - Medium for South West London Paranormal
We were asked by the host to help as soon as possible as it involved a 10 year old girl. Due to this special request the team were on hand with a couple of days.
Unfortunately, one of the main problems with this particular circumstances ,was someone who had claimed that they had some knowledge of mediumship, had previous been involved and had infact, we believed, made things far worse for this family. This a concern to us and must be a warning to others to watch out for such counterfeit people. This man had put a lot of fear into this family by asking them to let their daughter go with a negative spirit to the black castle with the black witches. He had no idea what he was embarking upon by requesting this suggestion, just so he could go with the young girl - how he planned to do acheive this we have no idea. I wish I could name this person in order to warn other people. His sort not only give mediums a bad name, but also cause more problems then he actually solves.
We were told that this negative spirit wanted the daughter to go with him. The family were informed of a dark witch and a black castle was hiding in the daughter's bedroom cupboard. This "so called" medium wanted this little girl to agree to accompany the negative spirit to the black castle to see the dark witches. This was an incredible stupid statement for any person to tell an adult, let alone a 10 year old girl.
The little girl had seen a man who talked to her daily. Not only did he speak with her at the home, but also at school and at her auntie's house. We were also told of a lady who showed herself to the girl and she was carrying a large knife. Jim, Carol and a few others could smell aftershave. It smelt like "Old Spice" which none of the males were wearing. Tony said "It was something that they could smell often".
Ann's House
Those present: Jim, Jane, Mac, Carol, Host Ann, Husband Tony and her daughter Kate
As we began the investigation Carol picked up on a young boy named Jamie who was about 10 or 11 years of age. Ann believed that this could be her step-father's son, whom she had known. Carol contined that this boy is angry. Ann tells the team she has only been at the house for a few months, but her step-parents had lived here for 30 years. She had been told and also seen for herself, someone walking up and down outside.
There didn't appear to be any problems downstairs, so we decided to go upstairs to have a good look around the daughter's bedroom and the remainder of the upstairs. In Kate's bedroom there was definately a strange feeling, it appeared negative, had a heavy atmosphere and places within the room felt different. We check the cupboard and confirmed that there was no witch within it, not that we expected to find one there. Carol informed everyone that the boy would sit on the top of the stairs just watching.
The team then headed off to the parent's bedroom. We picked up on someone in the room straight away. Carol identify the man as the grandfather. Jim said "He walks around the room and stands at the side of the bed". Tony confirmed that he felt that someone was standing there and he would smell the aftershave. Carol said "He is laughing". The grandfather told Carol that he would stand there and pour it over him. We felt there was nothing to worry about with the grandfather, he was happy and not there to cause harm.
The team had a small break and then returned to Kate's bedroom. As we entered the room we could all feel the strange atmosphere within it. Mac complained of a bad headache and Jane says she has a lot of anxiety. The man in this room is looking for something and he is not going until he finds it. Tony explains what the other "so-called" medium had told them. Jim said it was not true and a load of rubbish, this spirit man is being blamed for something he has not done and Carol agrees.
Carol then picks up more from this man and he tells her "It's all rubbish what the other man had said and I'm not going anywhere until I find it" Carol continues to say that this man is laughing at all the nonsence that has been said. Carol also asks about Sue, he has mentioned her. Jim then enquires if anyone else is picking up on a female spirit, because he can only feel this man and the boy. Carol then describes the man, he is short probably about 5 foot 2 inches. He is hiding behind Jim and it is ease for him to hide because of his size. Jim then tells everyone that he is wearing clothes which is nothing like we would wear today.
Jim tells the team that this man is not negative at all and Carol agrees with him and adds, he is just angry looking for something. Jim asks the spirit "Find what?" but the man just keeps laughing and then made a comment about the people in the room "It's all rubbish" he keeps saying. Carol says he is pacing up and down and thumping his fist in his hand. She continues that he is the one seen outside the house and confirms that all he keeps saying is "He is not leaving until he finds it and he has looked everywhere"
Jim asks him "Why are you so angry? What are you looking for or what have you lost?"
Carol tells us "He has not lost it, he just can't find it" she continues "He is not going and we are wasting our time"
Jim asks "What are you looking for? perhaps we can help" They received no reply
Jim continues "Is it you you wants to take Kate away?"
Carol says that he has replied "Rubbish I would not hurt her, she talks to me"
Jim says he is seeing something round like a gold coin or a medal and ask the spirit "Is this what you're looking for?" They still get no reply
Jim asks him "Have you seen the light?" The spirit replies "I'm not going anywhere till I find it, now don't keep on or I will get mad"
Carol says "It's something to do with his family" and asks him "Why are you angry?"
Question: "Can you tell us about the lady with a knife that goes to Kate?" Answer: "A load of rubbish"
Question: "Are you saying there is no lady?" Answer: "You know"
Jim says he feels no female presents here at all and believe the spirit. The spirit replies "He should know" pointing to Tony
Question: "Why should Tony know?" Answer: "Because he should know, he's been here a long time"
Jim says to him "OK, well my friend, you have two choices; you either let us help you or we just cross you over. You know we can do that?" The spirit is not happy.
Jim continues "We are here to help you, we want to help, we know this other "so-called" medium blamed you for everything"
Carol says he is telling her "That Kate sits there and listens to him, when no one else does"
Question: "Did you have a little girl like Kate when you were alive?" Carol says that she can see loads of children around him. She continues that is not angry towards us anyone, he just can't find what he is looking for. He also says the little boy is OK and not to mind him. Carol tells the group that he is coming round to us now and he knows we understand.
Jim tells him "You angry feelings have caused a negative feeling in the house. I can understand how you feel about being blamed for everything" The spirit replies to Jim saying "He needs a good kicking" and he agrees. Carol says that he is quite a ladies man. Jim ask him "What's your name? does it begin with A, something like Albert?"
The spirit replies "Never mind about my name, go and find it"
(We were not sure where the name Albert comes from, there is an Albert in the family here, but we find no connection)
The spirit did answer by saying "Who knows"
The team notice that the atmosphere in the room has changed for the better. Carol asks the man "Do you like a drink?" he shows Carol a bottle of light ale.
Question: "Did you once live here?" Answer: "I've just got to find it. I know it's here"
Question: "OK why do you know it's here? Is it a coin?"
Carol says it's sort of square with a cross on it.
Question: "Is that it my friend, are you looking for this medal?"
Question: "You know I'm starting to feel proud of you. Did you get this in a battle? I feel I want to salute you, I think you were a very brave man. I see this given for valour"
Carol says she can see him marching.
Carol asks Tony "If there is anything to do with the military nearby as she feels it close" Tony replies "There is a training base about ten minutes away" So that is where he has come from and he has been all over the place looking for this thing. We all talk about this and believe that maybe he has come to this particular home because, Tony has been doing a lot of digging and making changes to the house. Having tried everywhere else he has been drawn here now.
Jim still asks him "What is your name?" In turn the whole group tell him their names to help encourage him. The spirit replies "Look up?"
Question: "Why should we look up?" Jim still feels that it is a medal he has lost and that he was killed here. Carol says "Yes around here" Jim believes he was killed at the end of the Second World War.
Carol says that he is showing her a very nice girlfriend and that he is laughing now and the anger has gone. Jim says to him "We would like to help you find your medal, but I think it would already have been found. I wish we could help more" Jim tells the group that he feels the medal was a medal given for valour. (We later looked this up and of course it was the VC, Victoria Cross. So Jim was right in saying he was a very brave man).
The spirit says "You haven't bloody looked" Jim replied "If we knew where to look we would" Carol asks if there is a tall jewellery box in the house. Jim says that he doesn't think it has been lost as such, but after he was killed all his belongings were taken somewhere including the medal and he feels it's not where it should be.
Before we do anything else, we felt we needed to get to the bottom of thing regarding Kate and ask him "You want to take her to dark places?" He replies "That she's just a little girl". They continue "Yes, but have you said anything that may have made her think that. We are now asking you for your help. Do you know why she has said that" he replies "No idea"
Question: "Do you follow her to school?" Answer: "No"
Question: "Does anyone else follow her?" Answer: "No I don't think so, what are you on about? There is no one else here" He then points towards Tony and says "He knows"
(We could not get to the bottom of what Tony should know and had to leave it)
Tony asks "What year did he past?" Answer: "There is nothing wrong with Kate"
Question: "Were you married?" Answer: "No"
Question: "What about your mum and dad" Answer: "No didn't want to know"
Carol says he is very lonely and she is almost in tears.
Question: "What about your friends from the Army?"
Carol says her leg is hurting and he is becoming tired. Jim feels it is time to move him on and we ask him to move into the circle.
Carol says "He feels so low". Jim believes he died in a bombing raid just after he received his medal. He then asks him to step away from Carol "As you are making her tired"
Jim then says "Tired, yes I know you're tired. I have some of your friends here who want you to go with them" The spirit then says that Tony is a good boy and we are him if he is related to him, but he replies "No"
We ask him to move into the circle. A few members of the team feel funny and are almost in tears. Carol say he is with Jim now and has tapped him on the left shoulder.

We have been in touch with the family a couple of times since, the house is all clear, nice and claim, and more important Kate is doing fine. We shall continue as always to monitor this situation.
