Private House Investigation - Ascot
Investigation date: 7 February 2011
Conducted and written by Jim - Medium for South West London Paranormal
For the sake of keeping this investigation confidential, I shall call the owner of this house Anne, and her friend Mandy.
Mandy contacted me because of the problems Anne was having around the home. We arrived around 7.00pm and Anne told us what had been occurring within her home.
There were things that moved on their own. Her friend’s daughter has been touched several times and this is now upsetting her. She says an old lady keeps touching her, and only a couple of days ago it looked like she was being pulled away from the table.
The Baby chair rocks on its own, toys have been throw across the room, the heating turned up and down, doors opening and closing, and dark shadows seen.
This was going to be interesting.

Anne’s House:
Those present: Jim, Jane, Mac, Helen, Anne, and Mandy.
We asked Anne to show us round and prodominately where things had been going on. The main areas were the small bedroom, the lounge and the kitchen. Anne said she had seen shadows behind her; I did look, but perhaps, what it was she was seeing if it was not paranormall.
I decided I would like to start in the small bedroom. At this point Mac stayed with Mandy in the lounge.
(The room was a children’s room with toys and a bunk bed)
Within a few moments I said there should be a bed here along the wall in a different place to the kid’s beds. I knew a lady had been seen here, but I was picking up on a man. The feelings I felt from this man was I kept wanting to be in this room and wanted my bed. I felt sad, very sad and very much alone, I was picking up that he wanted my mum.
We went back to the lounge where we all could smell the strong smell of fresh tobacco. I said it was the kind you would use to roll your own.
Mac, Jane, and Helen were getting cold spots around them, this kept changing. Mandy told us that she had tighten the hood of the baby’s sleeping basket as tight as it would go, something she had never had a problem with, but as we watched it went down on its own.
Anne said the baby often looked as if she was looking at someone else. I accepted this, but babies often do, so I wasn’t too worried. I was looking from one corner to the other.
I felt things were not right in the room, my chair was not there, and where was the telly. I asked everybody to join a circle to start a séance.
I called out several times before I could start to feel someone around us. I told Anne that I had a man with us, he was quite big, lofty, around forty years of age, but there was something not right with him. I told her that I felt he was a little slow, a little backward with things; he had been bullied at school and was now very lonely, did she know any one like this?
Anne said yes she knew who I was talking about. I asked her not to give me anymore information just yet, while I continued to tune into him.
I asked him to do something in the room, touch one of us, push one if us, or throw something. Then something happened that surprised everyone - the TV came on. My first thought was someone had stood on the controls, but they were out of the way and could not be touched, or knocked in anyway.
So I said thank you and asked him if he could turn the TV off. Nothing happened for a while, then off it went, we were all amazed by this. Anne told us that this had never happened before and she confirmed that there was no problems with the TV.
I called out again, this time he came close and it was time for me to go in to trance.
The team told me that I wanted to leave the room and at this point they let me go back to the small bedroom. Upon arriving in the bedroom I kept saying "I wanted my bed". In addition I was continuously pacing and looking for something.
We returned to the lounge and started the séance again. This time Mandy started to feel funny and was getting worried. I knew Anne’s friend and knew she had, had some paranormal experience before in her own home. This man who we now had the name for was trying to take over her. I moved around the circle and gave her the help she needed and we moved him away from her.
After a short break we again started a séance. I asked everybody to reposition themselves in different places from the previous séance. After a few moments I felt I was going back in to trance, but I wasn’t. This time I couldn’t breath and I couldn’t call out.
Jane and Mac are very use to me going in to trance and knew something was not going right. They wanted to give me a few moments which is what I want, but then they realised it was more than that and brought me back. The feeling I had was like was being strangled and there was no way I could breath out. This was the first time I had felt this. I have been in a position where I have had breathing problems, but never like this. I felt it was time to help this guy.
We restarted the séance. I explained to Anne and Mandy that I wanted to build up more energy and showed them how to join in. It wasn’t long before I was back in trance with this guy. Jane kept an eye on me asking if I was OK and Mac was helping Mandy who again seemed to be affected; only this time it was the mother.
Mac, Jane and Helen were trying to tell this man to go with his mother and I could now see her. I was becoming upset, tears were forming. I was sad and happy at the same time. I moved forward, but then pulled back, I didn’t want to go. I was not scared and just didn’t understand. The team continued to talk to him, telling him it was all right, then Mandy said she had left. I also felt OK and alone so we stopped the circle.
Mac was about to leave the room, when Jane looked at me and called her. I heard her say it’s not Jim, the man is still here. I remember looking at Jane at this point; it was like I was looking at her though a goldfish bowl. Jane and Mac got us back in the circle again and spoke to him.
"What are you looking for?" I could feel myself wanting to go then to be left alone, but I said I wanted Mum. Mac asked "where is she?". I felt myself looking around, getting more and more upset, even feeling a little panicky I was trying to pull away from the circle.
The team said I started heading for the door. Mac guided the team without breaking the circle and headed to the small bedroom.
Once in the small bedroom I felt pulled to the left hand side of the room. Mandy said it’s his mum, she’s waiting for him. I could feel myself pulling the others to this point and a smile coming on my face, he was gone, and he was happy.
We have since spoken to this family and everything seems to be OK now and settled down. Mandy was still feeling a little upset and not sure of herself because of what happened. She had been use to seeing spirit, but not played such a big part in something such as this.
